Ruth's Table is the arts and creativity arm of Bethany Center.

We believe creativity opens doors. Regardless of age, background, experience, or physical ability, individuals benefit from participating in the arts—from writing to crafts to music. The arts provide lifelong learning and meaningful community building, all while uplifting individual creative expression. In our experience, arts and creative expression provide a critical pathway to:
• facilitating communication and connection across generations
• understanding and reconciling one’s life experience
• creating a future legacy Our History with the Arts Bethany Center has a deep historical connection to aging and the arts, beginning in 1969 when, early in her career, artist Ruth Asawa installed a stunning mosaic at the entry of Bethany Center. Since then, we strive to create an environment where visual and participatory arts are integral to life at Bethany Center.

Art CAPP Project
The Art CAPP Project, our recent installation of new art in and outside of Bethany Center, was completed in 2007 through our partnership with Academy of Art College.
