In 2007, the Board of Directors furthered their commitment to residents and
the surrounding aging community by establishing the Bethany Center Foundation
of San Francisco. Through the Foundation, we are permitted to raise funds
that will increase the variety of services offered to residents and address
the needs of people over age 50 living in the neighborhood.

The Bethany Center Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of diverse
experts in the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Their collective expertise
in the areas of philanthropy, the faith-based community, real estate, human
resources, and architecture and design are critical to guiding Bethany Center
Foundation’s day-to-day operations and strategic vision.

We are always interested in connecting volunteers to activities at Bethany
Center —we welcome the contributions of volunteers in teaching classes,
helping with special events and field trips, performing live music, helping
